形態特徵

• Stems simple, stout, 9–30 cm tall.
• scales ovate to deltoid, 1–1.5 cm long.
• Flowers short pedicelled or subsessile, solitary in axils of bracts; calyx cup-shaped, 3–5-toothed; corolla yellow brown or purplish, tube recurved.
• Flowers short pedicelled or subsessile, solitary in axils of bracts; calyx cup-shaped, 3–5-toothed; corolla yellow brown or purplish, tube recurved.
• Widespread in mountains from 1,200 to 3800 m. Plant size is quite variable, and seems to be correlated with altitude; at high elevations, the plants are rather robust, up to 40 cm tall and with many flowers; at lower elevations they are smaller, to about 10 cm tall and with about 8 flowers.

• 台灣 : parasitic on <i>Rhododendron</i>.
• 世界 : Northern India, Nepal, Sikkim and China
